East Lake Tohopekaliga is located in Central Florida in Osceola County. It is nine miles from the City of Kissimmee and just minutes from SeaWorld Orlando. The lake has direct access to Highway 192 and Florida's Turnpike.

Second Largest Lake in Osceola County

The lake is known for its beautiful landscape and water with clear visibility of seven to nine feet.

The lake is currently Florida's fourteenth largest lake and a part of the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes.

East Lake Tohopekaliga has an impressive surface area, covering 11,968 acres. At its deepest point, East Lake Tohpekaliga reaches 16 feet, but has an average depth of about 10 feet.

The lake is managed by the South Florida Water Management District, who reports a high pool elevation of 17 meters and a low pool elevation of 16 meters.

A public boat ramp and parking area is located south of the lake and is accessible at all times for avid anglers.
